About the book

The Metro Surge Anthology collects writing from the StoryForge community in a single printed volume. StoryForge is a home for human-written fiction, and this book holds to the same rule as the site: no AI wrote any of it.

[Placeholder. This is where the page should say what the book actually is: what Metro Surge means, who is in it, how many pieces, and why a reader should care. The stand-in copy on this page was written by an AI that has not read the book, which, on a site whose entire promise is human writing, is about as appropriate as catering a vegan potluck with brisket. Replace all of it before launch. The launch check will refuse to pass until someone does.]

What you get

Shipping

Pre-orders ship to the United States only. Shipping is by USPS Media Mail and is priced by the number of copies in the order. Each order button shows its shipping charge.

Outside the United States? We plan to open orders for other countries once the book is printed. [Placeholder: confirm that plan, and say how those readers will hear about it.]

We expect to ship all pre-orders by the end of April 2027. This is a pre-order, so the book is not printed yet. If that date slips we will email you, and you can have your money back if you would rather not wait.
